On a 4 game winning streak, the New Jersey Devils are looking like the Devils we know. They're back to playing Devils hockey and finally looking confident in their play. The Devils have won 6 of the last 7 games and need to continue to pick up all of the points they possibly can. Not only are they producing offensively (28 goals total over the span of the 7 games) but the defense has been productive too. And Marty Brodeur is finally making the saves necessary between the pipes. Ahh, the team effort they have needed.
It is hard to ignore the fact that the Devils are still in last place. And in order to improve they need to win and get as many points as possible. Hopefully now the Devils will start to regain their confidence and it will show on the ice and in the standings. There is still a lot of hockey left and although it seems like a reach for them to the make the playoffs, you never know what can happen!
